Oulipost #5 – Tautogram

Compose a poem whose words – or at least the principal ones – all begin with the same letter. The words must be sourced from your newspaper.

Swooning

Singers swoon,
she sounds
sure,
(swooning singers
surprise sounds),

(saying
she should shoot
some songwriters).

She says some songs surprise.
She sat, sounds should
show strength, she says.
Singing should simply surprise,
some swooning, some singing,
she suddenly sings,
sends sounds,
such sounds start something,
so she sings,
so she sings.
She, swooning.
